How to ask Jesus into your heart
The idea of turning your entire life over to someone you can't see, hear, or interact with may seem foreign, but when you are ready to allow God in and to help you, the steps are not difficult; it's a matter of saying a few words, sincerely, from the bottom of your heart.
"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved." ~ (Romans 10: 9-10)
Say these words out loud:
"Heavenly Father, I acknowledge that I am a sinner, that I cannot make up for sins on my own, and that I need a Savior. I believe that Your Son, Jesus, came to this Earth, lived a perfect life, and died on the cross for my sins and rose again, and was witnessed by over 500 people. I ask for Your forgiveness and I invite You into my heart and life. I give my life to You. Please be my Savior, and be my Lord.
